Exhibition Introduction
Launched in 1993, IDEX is jointly organized by the UAE Armed Forces and LLC Exhibition Company. Held once every two years, it ranks among the world’s largest, most participated, and most influential international defence exhibitions. As a major platform for global defense equipment procurement, IDEX offers excellent opportunities for cooperation, trade, and exchanges in the sector. It serves as an optimal stage to understand the current development level of the international military industry, promote exchanges with peers from other countries, and showcase national defense technological strength and products. For Chinese defense equipment enterprises, it also stands as a popular gateway to enter the Middle Eastern market.
IDEX 2025 marked a historic milestone, becoming the largest and most influential edition to date. It brought together global defense leaders, cutting-edge innovations, and strategic collaborations. With an unparalleled number of exhibitors, international delegations, groundbreaking deals, and live demonstrations, the event solidified its position as the world’s top defense exhibition.
Senior officials from military governments worldwide attended, including defense ministers and chiefs of staff of navies and armies. In just the first three days, 28 deals were concluded, with a total value of 19.95 billion dirhams (approximately 36.864 billion RMB).

IDEX is an international event that attracts visitors from across the globe, including key officials and decision-makers from Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. In fact, 90% of visitors in 2023 agreed that IDEX is a significant event for their business.Official delegations from various countries, hosted by the UAE Armed Forces, are invited to attend. They participate in the opening ceremony and tour the exhibition during their visit.The exhibition covered an area of over 181,501 square meters, featuring 41 national pavilions. It welcomed 65 participating countries and 1,565 exhibitors, along with over 120 international delegations and 206,073+ visitors. Among the exhibitors, 84% were multinational companies and 16% were local enterprises. The total value of commercial agreements signed during the exhibition reached 2.0957 billion.
