Exhibition Introduction
Hosted by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) and supported by the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Interior, the 2026 WDS Saudi Arabia International Homeland Security & Defense Exhibition serves as a preeminent global platform for government and industry leaders across the defense and security supply chain. It facilitates strategic networking, partnership development, and knowledge exchange across all defense domains, while showcasing cutting-edge innovations and fostering collaboration to address emerging security challenges.
Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the expo highlights advancements in land, sea, air, security, and space technologies, alongside frontier innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), unmanned systems, machine learning, hybrid technologies, Military Internet of Things (MIoT), and blockchain. By positioning itself as the Middle East’s top defense event, WDS aims to shape the future of the global defense industry through cross-sectoral collaboration and technological breakthroughs.

The 2024 WDS set new benchmarks for regional defense exhibitions:
773 exhibitors from 76 countries occupied 47,000 square meters of exhibition space, including 46 of the world’s top 100 defense companies (with all top 10 firms in attendance).106,000 professional visitors participated, including 3,131 C-suite executives/directors, 43 government delegates, and 20 sponsors/partners.23% of exhibitors were Saudi enterprises, while 77% hailed from international markets, reflecting the event’s global reach and localized impact.
