Exhibition Introduction
Regarded as the most pivotal event in the global aerospace and aviation industry, the Paris Air Show stands alongside the Farnborough Airshow and Singapore Airshow as one of the world’s three preeminent aerospace exhibitions, with a history stretching back over a century to its inaugural edition on September 25, 1909.
Offering a platform for industry convergence, innovation discovery, and business development unmatched anywhere else in the world, the 2023 Paris Air Show brought together all major stakeholders in the aerospace sector, featuring 2,498 exhibitors, 300 startups, 293,000 visitors, and 1,850 journalists, while facilitating contract signings worth nearly $150 billion.
Attendees were also treated to 150 aircraft on display in the exhibition area, as well as spectacular daily afternoon flight demonstrations. The event’s international influence was further underscored by the presence of 322 official delegations from over 100 countries, along with visits from the President of France and most members of the French government.

The exhibition spanned 70 hectares of outdoor space, 50,000 square meters of indoor exhibition area, and 35,000 square meters of constructed space, complemented by 311 meeting rooms. Fifteen aircraft were showcased, with 210 flight demonstrations conducted throughout the event. The total number of visitors reached 292,579, including 127,312 professional visitors and 165,267 public attendees. A total of 2,498 exhibitors from 48 countries participated, alongside 322 official delegations from over 100 countries and 1,850 accredited journalists from 75 countries. Contracts signed during the air show amounted to $15 billion.
