Exhibition Introduction
SITDEF, the Peru International Defence & Police Exhibition, is one of the most important defence exhibitions in Latin America. It is dedicated to advancing the modernization of the armed forces and national police forces through showcasing the latest advances in security, technology and cybersecurity, featuring products manufactured and commercialized by leading global companies in the defence and disaster prevention sectors. The confirmed participation of the Navy, Air Force, Army, National Police and the National Institute of Civil Defence of Peru underpins the authority and influence of this landmark international event.
Previous Edition Data
The previous edition of SITDEF occupied a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, welcoming 30,000 visitors, 170 exhibitors and 27 national delegations. From its inaugural edition featuring 40 exhibitors from 8 countries, the exhibition has grown to host 170 exhibitors from 27 countries in its latest edition, with this number set to rise further in the 2027 edition.
Exhibition Scope


Factory and building security, closed-circuit television (CCTV), alarm systems, perimeter protection and fencing; food security and counter-terrorism mitigation; security management; information technology system security.
II. Intelligence, Reconnaissance & Threat Mitigation
Counter-intelligence and reconnaissance; counter-surveillance and anti-sabotage solutions; long-range communications; radar and detection systems; unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs); communications monitoring equipment; interception devices; electronic counter-surveillance systems.
III. Border Security & Transportation Security
Blast control; supply chain and maritime security; nuclear and radiation screening systems, interception equipment, and import & export control systems; aviation security.

Specialist training for experts; specialized vehicles, ballistic protection, small arms and MOE equipment; criminal investigation technologies including forensic tools and ballistics testing systems.
V. Crisis Management
Nuclear material security and handling; bioterrorism mitigation; natural disaster solutions including early warning technologies, disaster relief logistics, water purification, supplies and shelters; disaster prevention and management; chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) detectors.
VI. Emergency Preparedness & Rescue
Training for emergency response personnel; weapons, protective and rescue equipment for fire services, police and medical teams; CBRN emergency solutions including detection equipment, software programs and protective clothing; emergency management roles and responsibilities; emergency rescue services.
